The Looney Tunes™ characters are some of the craziest and best-loved animated characters of all time. The first Looney Tunes™ short dates to 1929, although the first appearance of a major character recognizable today was by Porky Pig in 1935. Looney Tunes™ were created in black and white through until 1943 when they were animated in full colour.
The reverse of this coin features an energetic rendering of all of your favourite Looney Tunes™ characters. Bugs Bunny is in the foreground, and has been painstakingly given hand-applied pink and grey enamel colour. He is surrounded by Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, Sylvester, Marvin the Martian, Tweety, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd, the Tasmanian Devil, Road Runner, Speedy Gonzales, Yosemite Sam, Pepe Le Pew and Michigan J. Frog. Can you spot them all?
This coin comes with a blueprint that resembles the famous Acme blueprints that Wile E. Coyote could never use to good effect. Hopefully you can utilize it better than he did to help you identify all of the characters on the coin.
With a limited mintage of only 750, these will sell quickly.
This coin ships in a fire-branded wooden display box.
