This strikingly beautiful .9999 gold coin is the 11th issue in the remarkably successful Perth mint lunar series II, which features a fresh design with each year, paying homage to the ruling animal in the Chinese zodiacal cycle.
The 2018 coin will feature the dog, who also ruled over 2006, 1994, 1982 and 1970, in the form of an inquisitive Labrador Retriever, depicted beneath a majestic pine tree as he investigates his surroundings.

The obverse feature is Ian Rank-Broadley’s iconic rendering of Her Majesty Elizabeth II.
