Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice™ features Gotham City's vigilante taking on Metropolis's saviour. This movie is the second installment of the DC Comics™ Extended Universe series, and meant to be a follow up to 2013's Man of Steel™.
Their battle has mankind asking themselves what kind of hero the world needs. They are eventually forced to set aside their differences and join forces with Wonder Woman to help stop Lex Luthor from destroying Metropolis.
The reverse of this coin depicts colourized Superman™ and Batman™ images which reveal themselves as the coin is turned from side-to-side. The Superman™ side is red and positive feeling while the Batman™ side is dark and almost sinister. The imagery reminds us that although we think of the two superheroes as being distinct and separate, that they really are two sides of the same coin and more similar than they are different. Ultimately, they are both a part of the battle for justice, in spite of their different styles.
This coin is presented in unique packaging and comes with a Batman v Superman™ trading card along with one of three Superhero trading cards.
