The 5 oz Aztec Calendar Silver Round is amongst some of the most intricate bullion products available. Offering 5 oz of 999 fine silver with an extremely detailed design representing the Aztec Calendar stone on the obverse. The Aztec calendar was used in the Valley of Mexico before the destruction of the Aztec empire. It consisted of a ritual cycle of 260 days, and a civil cycle of 365. The silver round features the face of Tonatuih (the Sun god of the Aztecs) surrounded by small patterns and images depicting Aztec mythology and history.
